The Buffalo Gun Club is proudly run by a volunteer Board of Directors under the leadership, since 1987, of President Wally Shelstad.

ACCOLADES

In 2006, the Buffalo Gun Club was awarded the Amateur Trapshooting Association’s (ATA) Club of the Year.

In 2007, Mark Stevens was awarded the ATA Coach of the Year.

In 2009, Wally Shelstad was recognized as the ATA Volunteer of the Year, and in 2018 was inducted into the Minnesota Trapshooting Association’s Hall of Fame.

In 2014, the Buffalo High School Trapshooting Team won the 1st ever Minnesota Clay Target League State Championship, sanctioned by the Minnesota State High School League.
